Neil McKinney is a graduate of the Diploma in Homeopathy and Heilkunst Program (DHHP) through the Hahnemann College for Heilkunst, the only educational institution in the world that teaches Dr. Hahnemann’s full system of medicine. He was a board member of International Heilkunst Association for 12 years, 7 of which as a non-voting member. Currently he serves as Board IT support for the IHA’s Governing Body.
Neil discovered Heilkunst, the art of making whole or of healing, while exploring alternative modalities along his own journey of healing from the effects of profound trauma. In the initial years, he tried many different approaches, each of which did help to a certain degree but did not offer lasting results. It was only after working with a Heilkunst practitioner that the deeper, core issues finally began to surface and resolve. Heilkunst opened up a world of possibility that did not exist before. He was so impressed with how this medicine changed his life that he decided to undertake studying the full system of Heilkunst, for which he earned his diploma in 2012 and has been an accredited Doctor of Medical Heilkunst ever since.
Neil combines many years of being on a quest for physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wholeness along with a knowledge of various alternative healing modalities in order to meet the patient where they are on their own journey and help them in their healing. He has a particular interest in emotional and mental trauma to which he brings a deep sense of compassion, lived experience and insight.
In his spare time, Neil loves writing, reading poetry, being in nature, all things natural health and spending time with the incredible people he is honoured to know.
